All content is editable

With Amblique you can control your entire website. All content itCMS including text, images, animation, navigation menus, news listings, etc are editable.

User-friendly WYSIWYG Editor

Amblique includes a user-friendly WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor which allows you to create web pages just like you write letters in MS Word®. The editor has a powerful table wizard that makes even difficult layouts simple on the web. Our smart ‘Copy from Word®’ function allows you to copy all your existing content from MS Word® documents retaining all formatting consistency. The editor includes many more powerful features such as a spellchecker, undo/redo, etc.

Adding pictures

Inserting pictures in Amblique is easy. Simply upload images with the WYSIWIG editor then double click the image to insert it. You can also use the re-size image wizard to create various sizes or thumbnail images.

Create links

Our create link wizard allows you to link to any page, news article or product, external websites, email addresses, files, etc. It’s easy! Simply highlight the area you wish to link (text or images or both) and then click the create link button.

Enforce consistency

Amblique helps you enforce your corporate branding guidelines. During the set-up process you can define your corporate colours, fonts, font-sizes, paragraph styles, etc. The WYSIWIG editor can then be locked down to only allow formatting that falls within the defined guidelines. This will help you enforce consistency in all your website communication, especially when you have multiple content contributors.

Familiar user interface

Amblique has been modelled on some of the most successful and widely used software packages to make it easier for you. Even though Amblique is a web based application its user interface is similar to many popular Windows® applications.

File Explorer

The Amblique File Explorer is your online digital asset manager. It allows you to easily maintain files and folders online just like you would using Windows® File Explorer or Mac® Finder.

News Scrolls

Amblique makes online press releases easy. Simply add a news article through the administration interface and publish to multiple news pages and animated scrolls in one go.

Random Images, Animations and Content

With Amblique you can deliver randomised images and content sections throughout your website. Random content makes you website look different and new each time your visitors return and allows you to further utilise prime screen real estate.

Printer Friendly View & Email Page to Friend

Amblique can generate printer friendly pages and enable your visitors to email page extracts to their friends or colleagues.

META Tags

With Amblique you can easily edit META tags for each individual page, news article or product. This greatly improves internal and external search engine results.

News Feeds

Amblique can automatically aggregate news feeds from any RSS compliant news source and display it on news pages and scrolls. News feeds update your website with the latest information from third party content providers (i.e. news.com.au, ninCMSn.com.au, ect).

Content approval

With Amblique CMS+ you can setup various approval workflows. Typically this is used to separate the editor and publisher role.

For Example: An editor adds a new page or makes changes to an existing page, Amblique then automatically sends a notification email to the assigned publisher who then approved or declines the change request (which automatically updates the website).

Version control, compare & easy rollback

Amblique maintains a full audit trail of all content changes. All changes are date/time stamped along with the editor and publisher/content approver details. Authorised users can easily view the version history of pages and news articles; compare two or more version and roll back to (restore) any past version with a single mouse click.

Check-in / check-out

With Amblique CMS+ content editors can lock (check-out) pages and news articles while working on them. This stops other editors from working on the same item or from overwriting changes.

Date based publishing

Amblique allows all content publishers to apply date based publishing rules to any content item (page, news article, etc). You can simply specify and start and or end date and the content item will appear and or disappear automatically as specified.

Task management

In Amblique editors and publishers can create tasks against specific content itCMS and allocate these to any other editor/publisher or thCMSelves. This can be used to manage the editing workload and or to schedule future updates.

Dynamic multi-tiered navigation

Amblique has been designed to work with any design and it supports a wide range of navigation systCMS (i.e. drop down menus, sliding navigation bars, tree style navigation, etc.) Tiered navigation menus (sub menus that appear when user browses to a certain page) are also supported.

Dynamic sitemap

Amblique can automatically produce a sitemap detailing the structure of your website. This sitemap is then automatically updated every time you add, remove or edit a page. Sitemaps greatly improve your search engine rankings.

Navigation breadcrumbs

With Amblique you can add breadcrumbs, a visual trail that informs website visitor where exactly they are within your website (i.e. You are here: home / about / company history).

Site content search

Amblique allows you website visitor to search any content, this includes meta tags and text content for pages, news and products. Search results are displaying in ranking order with highlighted matched keywords

Manage secure (password protected) areas With the Amblique Membership module you can setup multiple smart password protected areas on your website. These areas can be configured to be hidden or visible to public users and will require visitors to login before revealing page contents. The membership module can also manage user registrations, account activate and lost password retrieval.

Multiple editorial levels

Administrators can setup multiple editorial levels in Amblique and assign website sections or even individual pages to specific editors. Content editor can only view and edit sections or pages that have been allocated to them.

Detailed permissions management

Amblique allows you to create detailed permission profiles for given user groups / editorial levels and/or website sections. All major editorial functions can be turned-of or off including view content, edit content, edit meta tags, delete pages, change page order, check-in/out, edit content settings, edit advanced page setting, approve content and publish content.

Platform independent

Being a web based application Amblique is 100% cross platform independent for users. Customers that wish to host the Amblique internally will require a Microsoft® server.

Cross browser compatibility

Websites rendered by Amblique will work in most browsers. Each site undergoes cross browser compatibility testing prior to being released.

The Amblique CMS administration interface has been optimised for the three major browser Internet Explorer®, Fire Fox® (and all other Mozilla/Gecko browser) and Safari®.

Product Catalogue

Amblique CMS is designed with the flexibility to give you complete control over the structure of your product catalogue. Create as many product categories and sub-categories as you feel necessary. Group products by brand, supplier, product line and/or product type.

The layout of the product browser and product details screen are customised to your design requirements.

Users can browse and/or search for your products, various search options can be configured. Each product detail page can contain any combination of text, images, pricing and related material.

To help you sell more you can also link each product to other related or recommended products.

Shopping Cart

Not just an ordinary shopping cart … the Amblique CMS cart is built using AJAX technology. Helping to improve the browsing experience, users can modify their orders instantly without waiting for the page to reload.

Other features include: calculation of taxes; multiple shipping rates/options; shipping regions; coupon discounts; customised reminder messages for product specials, etc.

Credit Card Payment Module

Amblique CMS can accept all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners). Our preferred merchant facility is eWay but the system can be integrated with any provider.

Payments are super fast and very secure!

Promotion Wizard

The promotions wizard makes it simple to design your own promotion with any set of products. You can design promotions such as:

All promotions can be a certain timeframe and you can configure if promotions are available with any other offers (i.e. discount coupons).

Discount Coupons

Discount coupons can be used by your customers at the check-out stage to receive a discount on the final price. You may want to give someone $20 credit for any products or you may want to advertise a coupon code that allows anyone to get 5% of their final purchase price.

You can also create rules to prevent customers from using a combination of coupons and promotions. It’s totally up to you!

Pricing Wizard

Using the pricing wizard you can quickly and easily make changes to your prices. Change the prices of all products, all products in a category or just one product. It’s a simple step by step process that saves you loads of time.

For example you can increase the price of all your products by 2.5% or you could add $2 to the price of every product from a certain manufacturer.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are a great way for friends, family or colleagues to buy a product for someone else. The gift voucher module keeps a paper trail of who bought and redeemed which voucher.

Gift vouchers can be bought and redeemed online. They can also be delivered by email.

My Account

The My Account feature allows customers to maintain their details and access their order history. This can be used to easily re-order itCMS or to track the status of an order.

Customer Reviews

The customer review tool allows your website visitors to communicate with you. Customers can give you feedback which only helps to improve your product or service offering.

Favourites and Wishlists

Customers can keep track of a list of products they regularly purchase. By adding a product to their favourites list it makes the process of ordering next time quicker.

Wishlists allow users to build their own list of products that they would like to buy. If you notice that a large number of people have a certain product on their wishlist why not run a promotion on it!
